But I´m wondering if the meaning of "jealous" is "envious" or "insecure". Why somebody be envious when a man goes to army?

My sister-in-law is going to visit him in the army....that is why i am jealous...i want to go too but he doesnt want me there.

Oh, OK. So, you´re writing this letter to your sister-in-law. And you´re jealous about her. Because she´s going to see him. Then the word´s meaning is true

And I hope you´ll see him soon.

That makes more sense!  Sorry you can´t get to go too - he probably thinks he would get too upset seeing you but at least you´ll get news from your sister-in-law.

He finishes his army january 13th, so not long now.

I must add, going to the army does sound exciting to me. But i might feel different if it were me that had to go.

I dont know which one is best, going to the army or being left alone for 15 months

Yes this is what he said, he is in a pattern and seeing me will knock him out of it and makes the days pass slower. Also I have to had a few operations recently so he doesnt want me to travel because of my health.

So hard though, I want to see him so much!!
