It's me again, ooops don't know what happened in the quote first time I have ever used it!!!! Why are some letters ???? ll I did was click on quote.

Having read the last sentence I am confused. I thought the verb always came at the end of the sentence not at the beginning. Please some-one help me out here.
Also why do you use the verb yas¸amak instead of oturmak. I only found out yesterday on the Manisa Turkish site that the verb oturmak meant to live until them I only knew it as to sit.

maybe that s because of ur browser does not support turkish chars.
and u can use oturmak instead of yasamak .. but in that sentence yasamak is better..
its like :
where do u live ?
where re u stayin at ?

In these sentences the verb IS at the end. Look:
Dün aşkım denizde yüzdü ve burada yağmur var
Here you have two sentences - one ending with yüzdü (he swam) and the other with var (is)
Bu adil değil
değil can be understood as wasn't
Yaşadığınız yerde hava nasıl?
This sentence is more complicated. At the first glance it seems to end with nasıl (i.e adverb how) but it is easy to guess that English would use the verb is here. So, analysing the suffixes, we'd have: live-that-you place-in the weather how-(is).
N.B. Turkish omits the verb to be
in case of 3rd person singular, e.g.
Bu bir köpek (it is a dog)
Hava güzel (the weather is nice)

degil is neither " isn't " nor " wasn't
degil = not
kolay degil = not easy
zor degil = not hard.
o kadar zor degil = not that hard..
beni gormus degil = he didn't see me ..

Yeah but we were referring to the text, in which 'isn't' would be quite logical. Still thanks for your explanation.. ohh im so not ready for sentences like beni gormus degil

degil :
degil is like " not " " never ..
u hv to use it : sentence + degil or noun + degil or
adjective + degil ..
Generally we use it to say somethin with strong meaning like in that text..
examples of degil :
- yorulmuyorum degil ( i m getting tired )
- bu yazdıgın degil ( not the thing that u write now )
+ bunu sen mi yazdın dogru soyle
- ben yalancı degilim ( instead of i m sayin truth - i m not liar )
- kız nasıl ?
+ guzel degil ( instead of " she is ugly " )
