For the rest we might as well wait for an expert opinion ... I never said I was right ... I just speculated because I seem to remmebr reading it somewhere.

As for Vodka samovar ... its a lesser evil.  I don´t indulge in lesser evils ... just major ones suit me fine.  You can imbibe your poison by yourself ... and enjoy it.  I´ll never know what I am missing, degil mi?

I think the difference would be the stress you are giving to the items... like when you are talking about the starting time and ending time for the visiting hours, then you use it as it is:

13 ile 15 arasýnda... because you have to be aware of the timings

but when you say otel ile plajýn arasýnda, the important piece is not the hotel or the beach but what lies between them..
