By the way, I forgot to say welcome back.  I noticed that you have been so quiet for the past few days...hiding out in the Language Forum.... strange... lol

You obviously haven´t checked, or you would see he hasn´t missed a day for days. When he does post, it´s a lot more than a few lines of witless drivel.

Ahhh, you believe in everything that is written???

I would prefer coffee house knowledge but the quality sucks in London

You should not have left Turkeyor settle in Italy<Spain or Holland-they serve a good coffee)

GOOD,you do not differ from the rest of Europe, all the countries in EU are xenophobic, not all are willing to admit it.According to EU

commission survey the most xenophobic is UK,the least Spain

That is what I like about your post..See..there is a survey and you are NOT questioning it..it is fine..have you asked any question how the survey is done? no..HEYYYYYYY,I DID!I asked about survey background and percentage of Turkish university goers and school kids..nobody answered((To have full picture,i want to know the percentage of Erasmus and other UE  bursaries!

That is what I want from my country men too..

It is as simple as that..

The question is why on earth it is that difficult to accept these facts for them..And as long as they dont and DENY,WHAT DO THEY DENY??? then how do we progress?Turkey has the power itself to progress,I think. If The country survived as a country although international plans were different the country has potential itself!

Results of over 6000 compared to 70 million???Bravooooo !!!!!!!!!

I am emailing konda right at the moment about it. I will tell them..ok?PLEASE DO,phone calls from my country are too expensive..)))))))I would be happy if you directed me to survey website even in Turkish)

The same in EU

I doubt it..any survey? or any proof?WILL TRY TO PROVIDE)

EU citizens do not cry

Well you dont..but we are turks we should and we will..Ehh,are you any better?

IT is important to my mind but i am a dinosaur in face of new technologies overcome.Dinosaurs are all who worship books as source of info...ehh,hayat!

well as long as they spent their time infront of a screen and searching porn it is better if they read really..

haha,try to make them)

Which results?

naah..should I understand it as a dot?the end of discussion?

And I am still laughing here.

Me too))))))))))

good good dear aval....dear Avalon to be accurate, big ,capital A))!

Perhaps now, but it´s only recently multi-cultural...and as a result of the British Empire. What is the saying..."when the chickens come home to roost"?

Yeah I completely agree with you lol

As I mentioned in an earlier post, not only do we have to "put up and shut up" we have to embrace it, because of the guilt of the colonies!

I don´t see the same shame from Spain, Holland and Portugal though....   We Brits are happy to take ALL the blame, but it would be nice if sometime people remembered South Africa (Boars), South America etc....

well..

what can I say?

I agree with  the potentials of Turkey

There is energy,  passion, hot blood  and everything. But unfortunately we are what the survey says because of  we´re too busy denying.

Well....I think the Spanish & Portugese got a bit more cozy cozy with the colonized....but they also have been out of the game for a much longer time....having lost out due to the British. So, in a way, you guys were left holding the bag.

It would be interesting to see what the results are in Belgium.

Hahah are you expecting me to defend anything here?  lol

I am the first to talk about the colonies sweetie.  Perhaps you are still smarting from your mistakes in the Gifts thread! lol

It can be a bit off topic there, but thinking about Turkey and its access to EU i remember the words of Salvador de Madariaga-the Spanish scientist  and intellectual during one of pre-EU conferences

he said

"The new Europe must be born

And she will when Spaniards will say ´our Chartres´,Englishmen say"our Cracow"(btw my favourite city)Italians´our Copenhagen"and germans´our Bruges"

then Europe will live"

I can only add the EU citizens could say"our Istanbul,etc..."

long way to it...
