Who is willing to translate this for me? I would apreciate it very much!!
Yokluğuna alışamadım, kader değil atamadım.
Çok bekledim, çok ağladım.
Seni kimseyle konuşamadım.
Seni kimseye anlatamadım.
Yüreğime son bir gözyaşı bırakıpta gittin.
Anlamadın zalim, sözüm ona sevdin

Somebody willing to correct my translation?
Quoting Gul Canim: Who is willing to translate this for me? I would apreciate it very much!!
|
I gave it a try.. just to keep up my practise during examweeks..
Yokluğuna alışamadım, kader değil atamadım.
I couldn't get used to your absence, it's not fate that i didn't throw away (i don't understand this)
Çok bekledim, çok ağladım.
I waited much, i cried much.
Seni kimseyle konuşamadım.
I couldn't talk with anybody but you (i kinda made this up because i don't understand it again.. )
Seni kimseye anlatamadım.
I can't tell to anybody but you.
Yüreğime son bir gözyaşı bırakıpta gittin.
You went and my courage was left with one last tear (i don't understand the structure of this sentence, i would like it if somebody could explain)
Anlamadın zalim, sözüm ona sevdin
I didn't understand cruel (???), i promise him you loved (HUH?)
--
Gül canim, wait till someone else corrects/translates this, because this is really wrong

I can't get used to your being gone, it was not meant to be, I can't accept it,
Oh, I have waited and cried so much.
I can't talk about you to anyone.
I can't make anyone understand.
My heart has cried its last tear.
I don't understand the cruelty, perhaps you dıd love me.

Deli_kızı
been translating same time as you. I was confused too, and asked my (Turkish) husband. 'Sözum ona' means a bit like 'maybe, perhaps'. Can't explain why, but then who can explain half of the English language.

uYkuSuz says he translated without noticing that you and I tried too
And i asked him if the message of Gul Canim had a sad ending.. because the start was so sweet.
And he is now explaining me that it indeed has a sad ending.
Now you are updated again

The original text is misspelled. It should be "bırakıp da" and not bırakıpta. This is a mistake many native Turks make.
