"tek geçmek" is an idiom in Turkish. It means, "favourite thing."
And sometimes we use it for comparing:
Yüzmeyi koşmaya tek geçerim: I prefer swimming rather than running.
Bu kitabı tek geçerim: This is my favourite book, it is very different and beautiful more than other books.
A small note: This idiom is generally used at "Simple Present Tense".
thx

It is not a trick actually, we use tens of idioms and sayings in daily life like that one. For a Turkish native, this is not a "tricky" sentence.
thx

"tek geçmek", according to me is, that it is my only choice, and I wouldn´t even consider an other alternative or option.

The english expression "my favorite pastime". Resembles it I think. At least that is how I will remember it.
