No you didn´t actually answer it in the text - what you said was ambiguous.
By the way, I have only one native language and it is Turkish.
I said I could speak English very well LIKE my native language Turkish, I didn´t say English was my NATIVE language...I said it was like my native language.
Well, I have been learning and studying English for a very long time and I am never afraid of saying that I speak English as my second native language.
thx

Your English is very good and obviously a million times better than my Turkish - but you don´t speak - (or maybe I should say ´write´ - like a native.

Well - this is maybe because of a saying in Turkish.
When we speak a foreign language very well, we say "anadilim gibi" , which means "likewise my native language."
anadil : native language
gibi: likewise, as.
thx

ReyhanL, I said English is "as" my second native language, which I meant "like my second native language."
And you are very good at being included in discussions, and no need to panic, nobody allows someone to publish lesson notes, whose is Turkish is doubtful
thx

Of course I don´t expect foreigners (i.e. non-native speakers of the language) to be speaking perfect English any more than you would expect me to speak perfect Romanian Reyhan! It just annoys me when they think they do and are too arrogant to be told otherwise! We do have the expression in English ´I speak (whatever language) like a native´ - but it rarely means it literally

ReyhanL, I said English is "as" my second native language, which I meant "like my second native language."
Why not just say ´English is my second language´? - because that´s what you mean.

Well - the problem in this forum is when you say something about yourself or when you express an opposite idea, it is immediately turned into a discussion, and there are people who are waiting for a discussion to break out.
If I really think that my English is perfect and I speak it as my second native language, I mustn´t allow you to correct my mistakes about it.
When you asked me if you could correct some mistakes of mine, I said yes, because I would learn new thing by your corrections.
I didn´t say my English is like my second language in order to praise myself, I said in order to show you how I cared and liked speaking English, and how speaking English was important for me.
thx
