I´m trying to explain something difficult to a friend of mine, but he doesn´t seem to understand...soo, if somebody can translate this very strange message for me, it would be great!

"I know that S. is lying about the babies. She is saying they are from September to K., and she tells him they are his babies. But, a friend of S. knows for sure the babies are not from September, the babies are from the middle of the summer. The babies are not from K., I am sure of this, and I don´t know if I should tell him this...what do you think I should do?"

what does it mean? i considered it as "babies were born in the middle of summer" and translated according to it.
