Hello! I have the habit of watching TV series with turkish subtitles, and the one I´m working on right now is LOST, season 6 episode 3. In it, the turkish translation of
"He´s an Iraqi torturer who shoots kids, he definitely deserves another go around" is
"O çocuk katili, Irak´lı bir işkenceci kesinlikle yaşamak için bir hakkı daha hak ediyor". My problem here is only the sentence "bir hakkı daha hak ediyor". "hak etmek" I do understand but not in conjunction with "bir hakkı daha". It´s not in any of the dictionaries I have at my disposal. Could someone help me? I´d be very grateful.
Don´t bother yourself on understanding that sentence as it is incorrect both from the point of logic, and from the point of grammar. "bir hakkı daha var" would be one of the right choices for the translation here...
