Hi Amber,
MSN is free so no cost is required to register, download and use it. It is a chat portal via Microsoft Windows. Together with it, u automatically get a profile webpage (similar to what Facebook offers) where you can put a profile pic and upload photographs etc. However, I think your school might have blocked it, whch is why you can´t seem to open the website. When you register, it will ask you for your details such as your name, email address etc. And of course, you have to download the program to install it on your school´s computer.

MSN is free, and you can chat, talk and see each other using a webcam. At this moment in time, it is pretty much my whole life (I know, depressing isn´t it??)

Sling81, JanetteO thank you so much!! & JanetteO, not at all! You are so nice gal! I have some family in Mexico, Pittsburg, and California and I talk to them via email when I get the chance. I have no webcam. Thank You so much!
