 We don´t use "tembel hissetmek" in Turkish. We say "yorgun hissediyorum [ I feel tired ] even if we don´t and feel lazy. We always use excuses.

 You haven´t understood my post. I said there was not such a thing "tembel hissetmek" not "tembel". Even we can say "I feel lazy because I get low grades". But "feeling lazy" in this context isn´t same with the "feeling lazy" in Polyglot´s sentence. Context is really important. Have a nice day.

 Maybe "tembelliğim tuttu" can correspond to "I was feeling lazy".

 It doesn´t sound right to me "Bugün (kendimi) tembel hissediyorum. [ I feel lazy today.] I have never said a sentence like this in my life. Maybe some people says so, i don´t know. We say "canım bugün hiçbir şey yapmak istemiyor" [ My heart (soul) doesn´t want to do anything today]instead of "i feel lazy"

 You didn´t get me. Mine was just a suggestion. After all we have an idiom: "tembelliği tutmak" and it has a similar meaning with "feeling lazy".

  "canım bugün hiçbir şey yapmak istemiyor" may also mean something else other than "I feel lazy".

I think the best Turkish translation for "I feel lazy today" is " bugün tembelliğim üzerimde", not "canım bugün hiçbir şey yapmak istemiyor"

we don´t also use this"okul için uyanmak" commonly in Turkish then, do we?
