çünkü o (oruç, kendisinin şehvetine ve nefsine hâkim olmasını sağlar.

En büyük nimet ...

"siz şükreden bir kalbe, zikreden bir dile ve mümin bir hanıma sahip olmaya bakın.

Böyle bir hanım, ahireti kazanmanıza yardımcı olur."

Kadın dört sebepten, biri için alınır: malı, soyu, güzelliği ve dindarlığı.

Sen (diğerlerini geç, dindar olanı seç. (Aksi halde) sıkıntıya düşersin.

Kadını sırf malı ve güzelliği için alan kimse, malından da güzelliğinden de mahrum olur (hayrını göremez).

Dindarlığı için bir kadınla evlenen kimseye Allah (cc) malı da güzelliği de nasib eder.

Allahım! Senden kadının hayırlı ve iyi ahlaklı olanını nasib etmeni dilerim.

"Müminlerin îmân bakımından en olgunu ve en hayırlısı, hanımına karşı en hayırlı olanıdır."

Kadınların en hayırlısı odur ki, kocası ona baktığı zaman mesrûr olur, bir şey söylediğinde emrini yerine getirir.

Nâmûsunda ve malında, kocasının hoşlanmayacağı bir harekette de bulunmaz.

Kızım, evimizden çıkıp başka bir eve, ülfet etmediğin bir kimseye gidiyorsun ... Sen kocana yer ol ki, o sana gök olsun! Sen ona hizmetçi ol ki, o sana köle olsun!

Kocana yumuşak davran! Öfkeli hallerinde sessizce yanından kayboluver ... Öfkeli geçinceye kadar ona görünme ...

Ağzını ve kulağını muhâfaza et ... Kocan sana fenâ söylerse, söylediklerini duyma; sakın mukâbelede bulunma!

The Muslim family life is like a corner of heaven. Everything is permissible there, everything is sweet, and everything is pleasant.

The most good-willing woman is the one that when her husband looks at her is (... mesrur ... sorry I don´t know this word), and when he says something she obeys his command.

 She doesn´t do anything with her honour or wealth that her husband would not like.

My daughter, you are leaving my home and going to another home, to someone you do not know... Be the earth to your husband, that he may be the sky to you! Be his servant, that he may be your slave!

Be gentle towards your husband! When you are angry, go silently from his presence... do not go to him again until the anger has subsided...

It is not "nefes" it is "nefs" It is one´s bodily appetites, the cravings of the flesh. You can call it "id" like Freud.

 Mümin means faithful or worshipper.

 If it helps, here haram is not any forbidden thing, but particularly a woman, and what is being talked about is something like "eye-fornication" as fornication begins with a lustful eye... 

Just to be curious: are these texts from the Koran? If so, which Sura?
