You can be turkish as much as you want . You still cant use "vermem" before "için".

Is that a joke? Are you going to know this structure better than me who uses it and hears it in daily life? I don´t know if it is grammatically correct or not but in Turkish, people use this structure in daily speech for a lot of times. Finally, in case if people don´t use it, so I shall not write it here, don´t I?

This is "-mem/-mam için" structure is common structure and it is used by Turkish-speaker people.

"vermem için" and "vermek için" are both correct.

There does not exist some rule like that in Turkish. I am a native speaker. I hear this language since I was born and never heard such a rule.

For example, you can say : Gitmem için yalvardı (He/she begged for me to leave). So this exemple disproofs your claim. And also, when you hear, "Üniversitenizde ders vermem için beni davet ettiğiniz için teşekkürler." it sounds %100 Turkish. But when you hear "Üniversitenizde ders vermek için beni davet ettiğiniz için teşekkürler" it sounds WRONG. It sounds as if it´s not spoken by a native speaker.  You can say "Üniversitenizde ders vermek için ne yapmam gerekiyor ?(What do i have to do to give lessons in your University?". But this is something else.

You are right if you will meet those people in person.  And also you are right if you really wont tell about your thesis and just it´s subject. I was thinking more global here.
