which I think means something like, dont rely on others ,they will let you down

well lady is from London big city im from further down south the country ,soooooooooooo she is city mouse and im country mouse, dont know if you know the story of city/ town mouse and country mouse but thats where it comes from,,,,,, I know I know I have a warpped sense of humour

Kind of, but you cannot use it in response to thanks
it is used in response to a command.
usually for greetings
I mean:
person a-Ailene selamlarımı ilet => Say my greetings to your family
person b-Baş üstüne => With pleasure
or
a-tabancamı getir asker! bring my gun, soldier
b- baş üstüne komutanım!
then sometimes used for joking, when someone speaks to you as if they were your commander:
brother: Mutfaktan gelirken bir bardak su getir bana! Bring me a glass of water when you´re coming back from the kitchen!
sister: Baş üstüne abi! (meaning, yes sure, is there anything else? go and take it yourself )
