how do you get ´bored´ here? (and it´s ´bored with´ by the way not ´bored of´ although you will probably hear a lot of people say this - but i´m old school don´t forget and I like to speak ´proper´

 Thank you adam25 for clearing that for us

I found this:

http://www.dailywritingtips.com/bored-with-or-bored-of/

But what surprises me is ...

google search says:

bored of => 3.560.000

bored with => 2.780.000

But it is;

Genel be bored of someone birinden sıkılmak >

in tureng.com {#emotions_dlg.unsure}

Btw, it is a kind of saying to express boredom for something or someone.

Excuse me?  Trust the native speaker mate not the dictionary!

You are right - it´s used a lot although surely that google statistic just shows the number of people who have looked the two up to see what´s correct.  But ´bored of´ still sounds bad to me however popular it is!

´Look in any dictionary and you will find that the “correct” preposition to use with bored is with. No one mentions bored of(not even hot-off-the-press books like the 2009 edition of Longman’s Dictionary of Contemporary English). Yet, whatever purists may think about it, our language data shows that, in 2009, more people say bored of than bored with. How has this happened?´ (http://www.macmillandictionaryblog.com/bored-of-life)
