What grammatical form is yapmazdi? Is annesi subject of the sentence? What is the translation?

What was the thing that her mother said to her?Was it about those old man?Definetely she(her/his mother) couldnt do this.Maybe just as Nasibe she didnt believe in their existence.Yes they existed, but they could be regarded as non-existent.

Yes annesi is the subject,yapmazdi-Genis zamanin hikayesi i guess

"Her mother would never do that." seems better to me.

türkçe cümledeki "kesinlikle"yi kaldır yerine "asla, hicbir zaman" koy anlam değişiyor mu bir bak. değişmiyor ve senin verdiğin kelimeleri kullanarak yaparsak oradaki "kesinlikle"nin anlamını yakalayamayız, direk kelime çevirisi değil cümle, vurgu, duygu çevirisi yapsak daha iyi olur.

best regards
