I don't want to cause a further debate, I'm not 100% sure about its correctness, but I always translate "yapmazdı, gitmezdi etc" as "he wouldn't do, he wouldn't go". It means that such a thing cannot be expected from him.

Hahah! My aim wasn't it.. i thought that word was important, i don't care what uykusuz or you say, that word is still important and your translation has missing point.

ok let's see ;
the best translation is :
" definetely her mother would not do this "
But
" definetely her mother could not do this " is also ok ..
and we can't use
"Her mother would never do that." here..
why ??
for ex : i want you to kill somebody and you ll say " i can't do this " cause you re not that kind of person who kills someone. " and if we look at the whole text..
it's clear that she can use " could not " instead of " would not " here..

Quoting hopkins:

türkçe cümledeki "kesinlikle"yi kaldır yerine "asla, hicbir zaman" koy anlam değişiyor mu bir bak. değişmiyor ve senin verdiğin kelimeleri kullanarak yaparsak oradaki "kesinlikle"nin anlamını yakalayamayız, direk kelime çevirisi değil cümle, vurgu, duygu çevirisi yapsak daha iyi olur.
best regards

and hopkins " kesinlikle has a stronger meaning "
and you re wrong ..
why ??

for ex : look at the military buildings. there is writing
" kesinlikle girilmez "
there is not writing
" hiçbir zaman girilmez "
you can't use hiçbir zaman instead of kesinlikle here..
kesinlikle has a stronger meaning.

So derya's translation is ok.
