Baş ağrısı olum
Tablet var mı?

I'd say it like this

Başım ağrıyor or Baş ağrısım var

Aspirin alabilir miyim?

baş ağrısım?? is that correct?? :S

we wouldn't say, yatak odasım,
we would say, yatak odam

so wouldnt baş ağrısı be the same?

Baş ağrısı olum Is this a correct use of olmak?

'Olum' is incorrect. It should be 'oldum'. But "baş ağrısı oldum" is unfortunately an incorrect usage because oldum means "I have become". We can say for instance "(Sen) Çok güzel oldun".

"Baş ağrım var" is a correct usage but not very strong. "Başım ağrıyor" is preferable.

baş ağrısı is an accepted two word noun - so why wouldn't you put a possessive suffix on it?

because ağrısı is saying that it belongs to something else. ie: the baş

when you say baş ağrım it makes it personal to you
dont worry bod, i only became clear with this a few of weeks ago myself..

Because "baş ağrısı" already has a possesive form in itself.

Baş ağrısı= His headache.

Hence it would render double possesive, in which case the sentence would sound very awkward.

The correct forms must be :

Baş ağrım var/Başım ağrıyor : I have a headache
Başağrısı var/Başı ağrıyor : He /she/it has a headache
Baş ağrıları var/Başları ağrıyor = They have headache (Though "Baş ağrıları var" sounds entirely odd: we would say "Başları ağrıyor" rather than this)

Hope this helps ....
