Believe it or not I am really inlove with Sevet. Many times you told me you want me to be happy as I deserve it but you really made a mistake by talking to yusuf about me.
I do not know exactly what yopu said to him, but he told Sevets family. Now I am in a difficult situation. I want to marry with Sevet but the family will not accept me. Fix it.

Can I have a few questions about one sentence?
Many times you told me you want me to be happy as I deserve it
Bana, birçok kez, hakkettiğim gibi mutlu olmamı istediğini söyledin
1. I think that "as I deserve it" means here "because I deserve it". Am I right about it?
2. I think that "hakkettiğim gibi mutlu" means "as happy as I deserve it", and it has similar meaning to "hakketiğim derecede mutlu", "hakkettiğim kadar mutlu" - "happy in the degree in which I deserve it (to be happy)". Am I right?
3. If I´m right about 1 & 2 - could the sentence above be translated as follows?
Bana, birçok kez, bunu hakediyorsun diye mutlu olmamı istediğini söyledin.

Thank you, Gokuyum, for your explanation and example. However, I have still some doubts about this sentence:
Bana birçok kez hakkettiğim kadar mutlu olmamı söyledin.
I think it means "you told me many times that I´m as happy as I deserve it" - so there are two things missing:
1. "Many times you told me you want me to be happy...". So it looks like if "istediğini" was missing here:
Bana birçok kez hakkettiğim kadar multu olmamı istediğini söyledin.
2. But still, this would mean that "you want me to be happy as much as I deserve it" - however, I think that the meaning of original sentence is "you want me to be happy because, as you said, I deserve it". In this case, could it be translated this way?
Bana birçok kez bunu hakkettiğim için mutlu olmamı istediğini söyledin.
