Merhaba. Turkçe öreniyorum.  I want to learn some Turkish dog commands to teach my dog. Can someone give me a list of Dog Commands?

Also, a command I use with my dog a lot in English is, "Get up on the bed." Could someone please give me the translation of "Get up on the bed"?

Thank you.  Teşşekkur ederim.

I assume this is a serious request. If it is the same dog that is used to your English commands, using a different command might cause confusion if you swap between languages.

Some simple commands

Gel = come

Kal = stay

Otur = sit

Git = go

To get your dog to get onto any bed, be it yours or his/her own, I would just point to the bed, or while patting the bed, say yatak (bed)

my guess is yatakta git = go on the bed

Hopefully saying the dog´s name prior to the command will get their attention.

"yatağa git" or " yatağa çık" sounds better.

"Yatakta git" may get him to run around on the bed.

That dog has an excellent knowledge of the cases then.

Correct, If you are adressing a dog in a certain language, you should have the courtesy to assume the poor soul has sufficient command of that language.

Otherwise pat the bed with your hand and say "Hav" imitating a crude dog bark !

Yatakta git sounds like the dog will get on the bed and travel aroud with the bed. Hehe.

I think it is more than gross..

A dog has to be outside of the house and should be protecting the owner or the property!!

Osmanlı Paşalarının toplandığı bir mecliste söz dönüp dolaşıp yazdığı hicivlerle birçok kimseyi kendisine düşman eden muzip şâir Nef’î’ye gelir. Meclistekilerden Tahir Paşa, daha önce ondan dili yanmış olsa gerek,  Nef’î’den lâf açılır açılmaz: “Aman, anmayın şu kelbi (köpeği)” der. Tabii bu lâf döner dolaşır. Kendisine köpek denmesine içerleyen ünlü hiciv ustası bu lâfın altında kalmayacaktır elbet. Tahir Paşa’yı şu nefis dörtlükle yerin dibine geçirir âdetâ:

Bana Tahir efendi kelp demiş
İltifatı bu sözde zahirdir
Maliki mezhebim benim zira
İtikadımca kelp tahirdir(temizdir)

Why do you eat poor frogs? It is not different than eating a cat. Gross.

Some Indians ask "Why do you eat cows? They are our creators, no?"

Does anyone know a good cat restaurant ?

Unfortunately the only one I knew about closed down due to protest  {#emotions_dlg.shy}

A restaurant specializing cat meat in Shenzhen, south China´s Guangdong Province, was forced to close Saturday after the protest of some 40 activists that drew a large crowd including children.

Isobel, founder of a cat-protection website based in Shenzhen and organizer of the protest, and other activists started the protest at 4 p.m. with a white rose on the chest in memory of the slaughtered cats, holding banners and handing out handbills to denounce eating cats and dogs.  Isobel, in her 30s, told Xinhua over telephone on Sunday that they chose the restaurant Fangji Cat Meatball because it slaughtered cats in the street and "it is very bad for the students from nearby schools".  One of the banners read "cats and dogs are friends of human being. Have respect for lives by stopping eating them please!"
