Welcome everybody! We are now here two who speaks spanish and three who speaks turkish, isn't it?
How can I ask to all of you in turkish: "Are you living in Turkey?" in spanish: "VivÃs en TurquÃa?"
Vivir = live VivÃs = 2 person plural
en = in
TurquÃa = of course Turkey!
Yo vivo en Barcelona.
Yo = ben
vivo = 1 person plural
Send me private messages too, if you want. I'll be pleased to answer to all of you. Let's try some kind of written talk!

Hi,
I am new too, I found this site a few days ago and have fun reading all your messages. I am new to learning Turkish, my friend keeps sending SMS in Turkish and he said I have to learn so I can get to know him better.
Please can you help me translate this message:
Seni dusunuyorum ve yanimda olmaniistiyorum. Usuyorum isit beni sana sarilmak ve opmek isityorum bebgim.
"i think of you and i want you to be near me.. i am getting cold make me feel warm.. i wanna hug you and kiss you baby" here you go
As it is a SMS I do not have the correct Turkish letters, I hope someone can help.
Mumbud

Thank you so much for the translation.
Are all Turkish men romantic? Most of the english men I know are not like that they do not like to express their feelings. It certainly makes me feel good to get the messages I must try to learn more about the language and the culture.
Once again I thank you.

Merhaba! İyi akşamlar! Hola! Buenas Tardes!
Thanks SuiGeneris for your reply. Then: (Ben) Barcelona'da yaşiyorum. // (Ben) Türkiye'de yaşimiyorum. // (Yo) vivo en Barcelona. // (Yo) no vivo en TurquÃa.
It could be useful to put those verbs and words we learn in simple sentences like this, and just practice asking and answering each other.
Nerede yaşiyorsun? // ¿Dónde vives? // Where do you live?
How can I ask that in Turkish:
Have you been in Turkey / Barcelona? // Has estado en TurquÃa / Barcelona?

Merhaba Nesquik13: Español zor değil. El Español no es difÃcil. And if you find that is difficult let's try to make it easy!

Çok teşekkürler! Muchas gracias!

Selam!
Hola!
How is your turkish? How is your spanish? You study both languages at the University? I teach myself turkish since a couple of months and I would like to practice it with turkish people, with no turkish, with anyone who wants it too.
Then, don't hesitate to send PM with your questions.
GörüşÃ¼rüz!
Hasta la vista!
See you!

Quoting Jabarcelona: Hello everybody. I'm new here and also new studing turkish. Studing alone is not so good as some little conversation from time to time. I would like to find someone interested in this exchange, or others just studing turkish to share doubts and explanations, of course.
Thanks to the site, and to all of you. I hope to talk with you soon. |
Welcome Jabarcelona,
You will quickly find that everyone on this site is really friendly and very willing to help you with learning Turkish. The forums are a bit like having a large number of pen-pals all at once
Good Luck
Cheers, Bod xxx
