I have read in a paper that also "tamam" is used in Russian.

I have also read that some famous Russian names like "Rahmaninov" and "Yeltsin" are traced back to Turkish roots.

I think all languages have borrowings, like for example, Turkish has 6000 arabic words in it, and it also ahs a lot of persian words in it i think, and in arabic i was soo surprised how many turkish words we have! Its so weird, same with french(arabic),a nd english ahs alot of borrowings from arabic too, (theses are the only languages i know, thats why im giving these examples ), so Thta measns all languages are made up if each other

Can you give some examples?

I know that there are some Arabic words invented by Turks.

Cumhuriyet = Republic is a Turkish invention for example but it´s all Arabic.

Most of these words derive from ancient greek-latin-arab and farsi I believe.Acrobat for instance,is made of two greek words- akri/akro meaning "edge"  and vato meaning  "walk/step".Actually,comparing languages is soooo interesting, because it helps you understand better history and all the links between different cultures.
