Merhaba jane,
this is why we suggest our Turkish friends to write in proper Turkish. Its much better to learn them correctly and our double-click dictionary works only when properly written. Try them now.

asigim > aşığım

bebegim - > bebeğim

üzledim > özledim

düsunüyorum > düşÃ¼nüyorum

Merhaba satorijane

evet, bebegim - means my baby

düşÃ¼nüyorum meas i'm thinking of - if you wrote seni düşÃ¼nüyorum it would mean I am thinking of you

I am not so sure about üzledim I think it means i am worried. Maybe other classmates can help us out on that one?

I hope this helps
Linda

Hello Linda,
you can double click on any English and Turkish word in our forums and a definition will appear as long as the words are properly written.

It may help if you tell us the words before and after aşığım then we will be able to see the whole picture of what was trying to be said

AŞIK
AŞIĞIM
This may sound tricky and difficult to grasp at first, try pronouncing the words as directed and hear the difference.

If you pronounce the first A as a short and sharp sounding A, then,
AŞIK: a bone used in a kind of childgame
AŞIĞIM: the bone that I use in the game (my bone)

If you pronounce the first A slightly longer and softer, then
AŞIK : someone in love
AŞIĞIM : A-ŞI-ĞIM :if the stress is on the first syllable "I am in love",
If the stress is on the last syllable, "my lover"(a lady's lover, a man would call the one he loves "sevgilim")
