Very kind of you to offer, but no thanks! I never really liked them. I don't touch pilav üstü kuru fasulye either, which is a good substitute so Heinz lovers don't need to import.
Substitute Heinz brown sauce (Daddy's sauce) or Ploughman's pickle if you would like

Quoting oceanmavi: i'm going to turkey next week and my friend asked if i could bring her some bacon, can anyone tell me if am i allowed to bring meat into the country? thanks! |
I haven't read the whole thread, so this could have been answered in total already, but you are not allowed to take meat into ANY country!!!!! Or dairy products, seeds (as in germinating seeds) and many other things, of which there are signs posted in all airports.
I am sure you can buy bacon in Turkey, there is plenty of bacon from Asda or Tesco's in resorts, to satify the need of the UK holiday maker, desperate for his daily bacon fix!

I asked the Government in Turkey if I could take seeds to Turkey they ok'd it,and I was also allowed to take none leafing saplings of trees as long as they werent endangered from the country of origin or the country of destination they said fine but i went through an importer maybe the laws for them are different?
