eskilerden bir intizar gelir oturur kalbime...
ve bana sadece aşk der...
gelir ve geçer....

mavi bir buluttur belki....öylesine bir bekleyiş...
aşk der...
der ve gider...

I love that song

Sometiems i wish just to die in Kadir's arms as soon as we get together again. Dying in his arms means that our love made it, for me.

But i think shakespeare would turn in his grave if he found out that a big love like ours ended so soon. So no, güzel bir gün ölmek için değil.. ama bir çok güzel gün yaşamak için

Can you believe this? We really must have swapped and I didn't notice it! I got 45 out of 51 points Well Aenigma did And there were 11 texts of which one was about ATKINS DIET (can you believe it ) and one about the environment, but i guess Aenigma didn't understand that one, as she made the mistakes in that one. Ohh and sis, I'm sorry for the wind I should;ve warned you, on my way to school tehre is always a tough wind, but the luckyt hing is, you have it in the back when you go home And I'm glad you didn't stick around too long, because i got quite scared of all those neighbours knocking at my (well, your) door!

We don't have to swap You can have it in 2 months. No way I am gonna cycle int he narrow streets of Izmir if i can walk there holding my man's hand

(btw, i understood why most of the turkish girls in Izmir prefer to wear sneakers instead of nice high pumps. But ohh, who wants to be pretty has to bear pain, so I'll stick to my own shoes and you can get the bike).

No wait. I know what we can swap it for I'm dying for the translation of 'Oi philoi' of Charis Alexiou

That's easy!
But there are two songs from Haroula with a similar title. One is 'Oi philoi' and the other is 'oi filoi mou haramata'. The lyrics for the second one, are here . You' ll have to give me some time to translate the first one.
Meanwhile, can you start packing the bike?

And here is the translations of "Oi filoi".
The lyrics are written in the way that friends talk to eachother, so it's a bit difficult to translate them exactly, but they ll give you an idea of what Haroula is singing here.

Watch, watch your mouth baby
And most of all us who love you
You made two pals and wanna “eat them up”
For looking elsewhere as soon as you run away

We choose our friends
That’s why we don’t give them a hard time
We share our secrets (instead)
We also fell in love
But didn’t lose our minds
We didn’t “burn” (forget) our friends
We also fell in love
But didn’t lose our minds
We don’t “burn” our friends

Talk to us, talk to us, even if you don’t love us
Why are you hiding from us and from your own shadow
You made two pals and wanna “eat them up”
Be careful cause your turn might also come
Talk to us, talk to us, even if you don’t love us
Be careful cause your turn might also come

We choose our friends
That’s why we don’t give them a hard time
We share our secrets (instead)
We also fell in love
But didn’t lose our minds
We didn’t “burn” (forget) our friends
We also fell in love
But didn’t kill ourselves
We don’t “burn” our friends

Thank you very much Also for the second one (i mean in your next post, and that was the one i meant I;ve always loved it and i used to sing it with a brush in my hand when i was tiny, phonetically obviously. I still do it (sometiems even with brush ). Oh but i'm still tiny Which is good, because that means your Angel can use my bike I'll pack it after my last exams
