Nothing is booked and sure yet, but definitely Türkiye and maybe first to England and then to Türkiye. Depends on my Nana's health and my student-visa.

I'll probably be going to Istanbul, Izmir and Ankara. But for me it is more a matter when does the holiday start, and when will it become daily life

Anybody planning to come to Holland this summer? And who will be in Izmir, in july-august? (or later)

Unfortunately I have totally no idea where to go. I'd love to come to Turkey of course and I'll do my best to go there for at least two weeks. Then, I promised somebody to visit Serbia so that's one definite thing to do.
If something goes wrong and I won't be able to visit Turkey, I'm counting on Deli_kizin to say hi to Ankara from me

ive been to turkey twice already this year and i go again on 22nd may. people often say to me why not go somewhere for a change . I love the culture and the people they are very friendly and helpful. alot of people i have met have become my second family. this year was the first time in 10 years i went in winter. in alot of ways it was same as being at home not alot to do, but where i live in england people in winter rarely speak never mind smile so i think winter time in turkey is better too.

I am also off to Turkey three weeks on Monday, i will be staying in Bitez but going into Bodrum and Gumbet to meet with friends that i have met there over the last 5 years. I wish i could stay there forever, and get upset every time i leave, its like a second home to me.

I am going to Oludeniz in June for one week only! I wish it was for longer. Ibiza is very cheap for us in England unless you go to a very good hotel. So you dont have to be rich! To travel from England to many parts of Europe is very very cheap as we have several low cost airlines. I went to Italy once for £15 and stayed with my son for 10 days - so only cost me food except I hired a car which cost me a fortune!

I think there is another airline opened up into Istanbul which is much cheaper than BA or Turkish Airlines.

Have a good one everybody and us in the UK and Holland need the sun and the warmth to stay alive

I want to go to Turkey but I havent booked anything as of yet. If I do go I would most likely book a return flight to Istanbul and just use my student loan to see as much of Turkey as is possible in a month (or for however long I go for), I would like to try and 'see it all'. I would go to Pamukkale, Cappadocia, Ephesus, Manavgat, Patara (18kms of continuous beach - longest in Europe, Caretta Turtles & ancient ruins), the Church on Akdamar Island in Lake Van, etc....

Hehe i will travel and see all of Türkiye, but i think i deserved a lazy holiday first.. after all i will have to find a house and then decorate it in at least 30 degrees. Don't blame me for longing for a pool with a drink and Kadirrr!

The traveling will sure come though I have read about so many places that i want to see! Maybe one day i'll be a journalist for a Turkey magazine, writing about those special places. I will write the articles as boring as possibel so that nobody will want to come there and the place stays intact

And now i'm gonna have sweet dreams about all the plans we made

As I am visiting Istanbul at least once a month, I will arrange my holidays to Cappadocia (not Istanbul as usual). I will go there by the end of July with my husband to celebrate our first anniversary. We have promised to be every year somewhere in Turkey on this date, so as to remember our wonderful wedding in Istanbul.

Offf it looks great. I've been to Cappadocia once and I always say it's my favourite place in Türkiye. It's great how the miracle of the nature and human meet in those cave houses. Those caves are far more attractive than any of those 5 star hotels for me. I can't tell but there's a very strong magic they have on me. It's like another world. I dream to go there to have a romantic vacation when I have a boyfriend.

Lucky you! While the whole gang of you will be lying flat on the beach and getting brown beyond common sense, I'll be spending August in Ankara so not much chance of getting even close to a beach

Honey, most of them would gladly change beaches for what expects you in Ankara

From what I saw of Marmaris, it must be about as far away from a real Turkish place as it is possible to be!!! We have to drive through Marmaris to get to Turunç and it is not a place I would want to stay
