as i heard from tv programme about england... the media was very happy with rooneys getting well so soon and his vole of rooney in trainings...
but they said that they dont think that he is ready and there will be some doctor chekc vs. vs. vs.
but they will include him to the official squad and he really wants to play.. as news said

Ivory Coast have a very good team but unfortunately are in the same group as Argentina and Holland.

I will support Argentina and Holland. But it will be a big surprise if Brasil loses this cup. They have a fantastic team. I think that, this is the best Brasillian team of last 35 years. (the second best was the team in 1982 and that team couldn't win the cup.

...since Sweden is out... ...I think that the best playing selection of the world should win! lol ...as long as Sweden were in - I did not care about whether they were the best or not...only that they should win!
...though I prefer south america winners to european ones...it might have something to do with my suffering from a David vs Goliat-syndrome...

It is like Eurovision!!! But then the other way!!! Eurovision is usually the east european countries that are best, now it's only West europe in the semi finals!!!

But I feel sorry for England. And I start to question myself.. everybody thinks Tarkan and ROnaldo to be gorgeous, but I can't like any of them :-S Especially Ronaldo, he's such a weak, sweet looking boy.. I prefer my rough man

And I can't stand Rooney!! It's just an annoyment to look at such an aggresive player like him.

Sorry Carla! Portugal are nothing but a bunch of la la's and cheats!! I was all for Portugal but not now I have seen them play. The best game to date was Germany and Italy with the Italian winning 2 nil in last 2 min of extra time. It was end to end all the way. France have also come out with a good display and I hope they give Portugal a good tonking (English for well and truly beaten ) tonight. I will be glued.

Hehe yes of course I can see why you say that - my dad shares your view. Yes I suppose they do exaggerate and wind people up...But they are skilled in a way if their cheating is forgiven. Oh well congratulations to France anyway. Should be a great final match.

After 'beaucoup' it takes 'de'.

Je ne sais pas beaucoup de français. But I think the verb 'connaître' would be better.. Je connais pas beaucoup de français.. Though I for myself would say.. 'Mon français est pas très bien ' Ohh well this isn't french class anyway and my french leaves me a lot to wish for..

I'm reaaly sorry for Zizou. This is not the end he deserved. Of course his manner is not logical but i believe materazzi must have humiliated Zidane and his race...anyway Zidane is the best for me...Thaks for everything Zizou

Materazzi must have said something really bad to Zidane to make him react that harshly at his very last game ! But he should still have taken control of himself, and not lowered himself to that level. What a terrible ending for him...

Ofcourse, you're allowed to support them, but being "so glad" sounded a bit too much for a non italian.

Anyway, je suis triste Italians played so harsh. Zizou shouldn't have put an end to his career by a red card. I wonder what the rude italian said to him to make him so angry.

I agree!
Materazzi is famous for his aggressive play, I'm sure during all the game he was teasing Zizou, and in the end he must have said something really very insulting like "filthy algerian" or something equally bad.
