Thank you for those who posted about the bombings in Turkey. I have been really busy with school work lately that I haven't been watching the news. But today I was able to check turkishclass and this particular thread caught my attention.

I hope the bombings stop and everything returns to normal. My prayers are with the victims of the bomb blasts.

Hello

I need help. Im gathering information about Yozgat...it's not such a popular place in Turkey, that's why I know only little about it. I've heard some "negative" things about it, but it doesn't matter, I'd still like to learn more about the place and the people there.

If anyone could be so kind to post whatever they know about the place (positve or negative), it would be greatly appreciated

Could someone please translate this passage into Turkish for me? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

"Love is patient and kind, it is not jealous or conceited or proud; love is not ill-mannered or selfish or irritable; love does not keep a record of wrongs; love is not happy with evil, but is happy with the truth. Love never gives up; and its faith, hope, and patience never fail.

Love is eternal..."

If one dies for that special someone - then in the future you cannot be there for another special someone. In one´s lifetime there are sometimes many special someones...maybe the one you think is the only one is not so. Maybe a week later you would have met the person of your dreams - but now you are dead - what good is that?

we can only act based on what we know, and between the present and future, it is the present. Dying for someone you presently feel is a special someone is more sure and worth it than ´ifs´ regarding the future..th

Mahal ka ta... I often see this... Filipino is the national language, while Tagalog was once the national language. It's a just a dialect now. Foreigners often get confused with the two..."Tagalog" is more popular to foreigners than the term "Filipino." They use Tagalog when they mean Filipino

yup!! u got that right! but there is no difference between filipino and tagalog...just the terminology issue. i guess until now most of the filipino still prefers to call our national language as tagalog rather than filipino.

oh no, that's the common misconception. The Tagalog dialect has no letter "F", whereas Filipino language has

Gee Anna, don't worry all will be okay. Right now, what you need is to have a lots of relaxation. Go to a nice, quiet place where you can think of nothing except nice things. Have a retreat or something...or go to the beach. When you in a serence place, you can forget everything. Take a break from all the torture of your mind and heart. You need to have some time for yourself. This'll give you energy to face your big dilemma when you return.

hi Jenni,

well i think, since u refer to each other as husband and wife, Bob gets this idea that you guys are very very intimate already... i mean, to the point that he's asking u to do..etc etc in webcam. i guess, yeah u should talk to him about it. tell him how u feel, and that there are limits of course to your relationship (since it's only been a few weeks). then, im betting he'll respect how you feel about it.
