Some people seem to have linked it also to the verb 'str' wich means something like 'to hide/be sheltered' and then would mean 'sheltered' or 'i will be sheltered/hidden'.

I go for the first meaning, because it's more logic: Esther does look like the words for star like 'star', 'ster', 'estrella' etc.

With the persian origine I think I was meant to find my happiness more in the eastern direction
