I am sure no-one would take offence from your post. It is not a insult to Turkish men - there are good and bad in every country!

I think it shows what a great mother you are to go to all this trouble to find out more

Quoting Hilliar:

I was listening to the Duran Duran song Rio today and it reminded me of those goddamn Turkish girls. They're so beautiful. The first thing I saw at Teesside airport was a fat blonde girl... it was something I expected. I hope to God I get to go back to beautiful again soon.

Awwwww poor Hilliar ! But it is refreshing to hear a post from a man about the beautiful Turkish Girls. Most are about the handsome Turkish boys . But...watch your step..not all blondes are fat!

JOE - WHEN I SEE YOUR SMILE

Sometimes I wonder how I’d ever make it through
Through this world without having you
I just wouldn’t have a clue
And sometimes it seems like this worlds closing in on me
And there is no way of breaking free
Then I see you reach out for me

Sometimes I wanna give up
Wanna give in
Wanna quit the fight
Then one look at you baby
You can make everything alright
You make everything alright.

When I see you smile
I can face the world
You know that I can do anything
When I see you smile
I see a ray of light
I see it shining right through the rain
When I see you smile......baby when I see you smile at me.

OOOhhh I hope thats not a 'POP' at me...

I am making the effort to learn my fiance's first language... as he too is improving his English. As for employment... well... I would not even think about moving to a country without having a job first.

Hell no! Please dont think that, actually I didn't read your previous post until now and had no intention of criticising you . Apologies

Quoting IZMIR060406:

Hmmm yes very true.....

BUT... why would you enter a country with no money, no job and nowhere to live?

People do it all the time! Certainly in the UK it is an increasing problem as people arrive here with no money, job or accommodation. Or else, they fall in love and move to another country to be with their partner with no thought about money or job or even trying to learn their chosen countries language first!

Quoting Chantal:

It's so funny! I really want to live in the UK as well, but everyone is telling me that it's hell to live there!

I've just been watching this TV programme about people moving to the countryside, and it looks so lovely there..

I have to agree that Turkey is much more beautiful, but I think the UK is so amazing as well!

Oh, and it's true what Izmir says, if you want to do something.. go for it.. before you know it it's too late....

I think moving to any country can be hell or paradise depending on your circumstances. If you arrive in a country with no money, no job and nowhere to live, then YES IT WILL BE HELL! Turkey or UK!

Thank you for the correction. So, I always remembered that line wrongly. Hmmm... You made me feel ashamed of myself.

Thanks again.

Yours,
Cyrano.

Ashamed? Pah! I would be proud and extremely happy if I could ever speak Turkish as well as you speak English, let alone quote Shakespeare
