its so silly in east turkey..still there r tribes and ppl still strictly tied to their old fashioned believes like not letting girls study but when it comes to taking their women to the doctors they prefer female doctors..its not sensible...almost silly and yes more than silly ....the teachers, the mayors and even the governors of these cities go to their houses and ask them to send their girls to the school but they refuse ...and they make them marry smtms at 15 or later....

its a pity and shame but they r free ...and they have their rights to say sth on their girls so we just wish and hope

KIZ ÇOCUĞU

Kapıları çalan benim
kapıları birer birer.
Gözünüze görünemem
göze görünmez ölüler.

Hiroşima'da öleli
oluyor bir on yıl kadar.
Yedi yaşında bir kızım,
büyümez ölü çocuklar.

Saçlarım tutuştu önce,
gözlerim yandı kavruldu.
Bir avuç kül oluverdim,
külüm havaya savruldu.

Benim sizden kendim için
hiçbir şey istediğim yok.
Şeker bile yiyemez ki
kâat gibi yanan çocuk.

Çalıyorum kapınızı,
teyze, amca, bir imza ver.
Çocuklar öldürülmesin
şeker de yiyebilsinler.

Hiroshima Child

I come and stand at every door
But none can hear my silent tread
I knock and yet remain unseen
For I am dead for I am dead

I'm only seven though I died
In Hiroshima long ago
I'm seven now as I was then
When children die they do not grow

My hair was scorched by swirling flame
My eyes grew dim my eyes grew blind
Death came and turned my bones to dust
And that was scattered by the wind

I need no fruit I need no rice
I need no sweets nor even bread
I ask for nothing for myself
For I am dead for I am dead

All that I need is that for peace
You fight today you fight today
So that the children of this world
Can live and grow and laugh and play
