Braveheart with Mel Gibson had an amazing soundtrack. And as a movie was quite romantic.

or the women in uk are lesbian?????
there is a problem here...anybody wana help????
please enlighten us...

lmao Ramayan!

Yes, i agree with u. Many of those women are lying. It's not that they would make love with him from the first moment, but i bet they would give it a serious thought if it was asked in a creative way.

But i think that those men are lying as well. A big percentage of them. I strongly believe that men are more sensitive and conservative than they want us to believe.

As for me, if i was asked the same question, well... i think i would call the fire fighters. They look so damn sexier that the policemen

It was on May 2003 when i came to Turkey for the first time. My excuse for this trip was a short holiday with my best friend. The real purpose was to meet somebody i had been talking with, for months, through internet.

I was adviced, from friends and relatives who had been there before, not to wear a mini skirt, not to wear tight jeans, not to smile and talk to strangers and (lol) to always wrap a jacket around my weist while walking in Istanbul's streets! Because, they said, turkish men find it easy to lay their hands on women's b*tts while walking Also, to keep my money safe at the hotel, not on me, to hold my bag tight and to never buy anything without bargaining first. Most of all, those who had never been in turkey, were worried about my greek nationality and how turks would behave to me cause of this.

What i really found there was polite people, friendly, who never embarassed me in any way, no matter if i was walking alone in the streets or not, with or without a jacket around my weist I realized that they were being even more friendly to me, as soon as i was mentioning i was greek, especially when saying i was from Selanik (Salonica,Ataturk's motherland). Nobody ever tried to steal my bag and they even gave it to me when i left it in a coffee shop!

The people were amazing and so was Istanbul. And i have to say the same about every other place i ve ever been in turkey, except from kusadasi. (I have to admit that there, shop owners at least, were less innocent with tourists)

The only good piece of advice my friends had given me, was about bargaining. Yes i did it, and yes i had fun with it though its not my style at all.

Since then, Turkey has become my favorite destination. And every time i pass the borders to enter this amazing country, i feel like coming home...

eventually when my children have finised school we plan for me to move to turkey.
i had cancer earlier on int he year and it has made me think of things so differently i think he loves me but if he doesnt and it all ogoes wrong at least i have been happy for a while buti prepared to take the risk
all the best

I wish u all the best.
Yeah that's what life's all about. Taking risks and going after what u love. And, even if/when it doesn't work out as u expected, doesn't it feel better to look urself in the mirror and know that u have done everything u possibly could to make it work? Isn't it better than regretting for being a coward all ur life? Wondering how it would be if u had only given it a chance?
After all, its the 'journey' that matters...

Quoting mltm:

yes, otherwise there would be no happy couple in Turkey...

The same story was told about greek men 5-10 maybe 20 years ago. That they were after foreign women, so that they could get a visa and a better future in a foreign country, through a marriage. And yes, there is no smoke without a fire. Ofcourse some did this. But most fell in love with foreign women just because they were so much different from the greek ones. Was it their free spirit? Their independance? Their powerful personalities? I have no idea! But they were different. And this made greek men fall in love with them. It was their heart beating, not their ambition to move in a different country, or take advantage of their wealth.
And if they were manipulating those women, then how come most of those couples live permanently in greece and have never moved to any of those women's motherland? I wonder...
