In Holland there is a saying: the army makes a man out of you. Do they say that in Turkey too?

trudy,u got answer from my brother
but it depends on person,he thinks that I didnt change so they have to take me army again

i have heard this said too from people i know in turkey....one guy i know well says to me: your love may change but he will change for the better if at all, he will be stronger in heart, stronger in mind (also stronger physically) and will show his maturity more..........i just hope he doesn't seem too different hehe he still tells me his silly jokes so i think im ok

I have just come back from Turkey and one of my friends said that his father paid for him to only do 21 days in army. He did live in Germany before though so I dont know if that has anything to do with it?

and he has had the opportunity to call me a couple of times. According to him, the place where he is at is not in good conditions, meals are not good, they have to wake up very early and to go through rough work, but of course, what else can you expect at the ARMY, especially if you are not used to this lifestyle? hehe :-S . The good thing and what it recomforts him is that he will get used to it soon
