Hi,

I've been listening this Fistik gibiyim song for quite some time.. i noticed she repeats the same sentences all the time so i figured it wont be too much to ask to get it translated The way i read this, the chorus sounds quite arrogant

sonunda aklin basinami geldi
terk ettigimde canim boyle degildi
ne oldu yani dunyami durdu
aman aman iyiki de gitti

fistik gibiyim ben
senin gibi on tane
seni olume dizer dalga gecerim
sonra bide sana guler gecerim
seni butun aleme rezil ederim

thanks!

It would be so nice if you'd use Turkish characters, that would make it easier for a baby translator like yours truly

Thanks
Elisa

Waiting for someone else to do it, Deli_kizin
I can't, too many things, suffixes and tenses, that I haven't seen yet. I understand words separately, but can't put them into something with meaning

Someone help, please?

These lyrics are not a good example of Turkish usage. Don't blame your Turkish level. Some parts of this song are either meaningless or not very well build.

Yeah, that's quite often with lyrics.. but im still curious what she's trying to sing

I wonder which of the two lyrics is the right one? Because the first is slightly different from the second.

Help help it goes well?! MUHAHAHA

"Fıstık gibi" means much more than pretty btw. It's said about something that is beautiful, in a dazzling, stunning way.

Just found that now, you know But by looking for something in that way, at least I know I won't forget it anymore. So, thanks!

Elisa

Yep, guys say it about girls they considered to be hot..
A turkish friend says its like.. u want to eat them like nuts..because they are so good (stunning, dazzling etc).

When i asked him.. Ohh you mean you eat them at a nut as in.. pop them open?! (we were in a joking mood, i should add)

He only said.. i like them with chocolate?

I did a translation that is according to me, but it's not easy to make a real accurate translation since there're a lot of difficult expressions, idioms.
forxample "fıstık gibi" means very beautiful, but it's a slang word (literally fıstık is peanut), so I don't know slang english language very well, so maybe "chick" goes well. and also "aman aman" is a difficult one, here it's like an expression to something that you strongly don't want.
I hope it helps

I'm like a chick

Finally, did you come to your senses
You weren't like this when you left me
So what happened dear, did the world stop
My god luckily you left

I'm like a chick
I can easily have ten men like you
and make fun of them
And later I just laugh at you
I disgrace you to everyone
