tho this is true:
The ordinary Turks did not have a sense of belonging to a ruling ethnic group. In particular, they had a confused sense of self-image. Who were they: Turks, Muslims or Ottomans? Their literature was sometimes Persian, sometimes Arabic, but always courtly and elitist. There was always a huge social and cultural distance between the Imperial centre and the Anatolian periphery.

1. There is no such thing as an 'ordinary Turk'. They are all special.
2. Anyone who is a citizen of Turkish Republic, and is proud of it, is a Turk.

Frankly, this is what i like about Turks.
there are patrilineal societies.
there are matrilineal societies.

tho, i do believe lisa knows about luther.

Well Lisa is a smart one, but I can't help but think that the more religious people are, the less they actually seem to know about even their OWN religion....

the thing is that cathoics dont have a so called duty about luther, not mentioning all other old monks lol

I was trying to get some brownie points of my own but it seems that AEnigma has taken them all again!! lol

If I collect enough 'Alpha Points' I can collect prizes!

Prices for "ladies" include:-

500 points - A new saucepan for cooking husbands dinner.
1000 points - A nice new vacuum cleaner.
1500 points - A nice sexy dress so that "hubby" wont think I have let myself go since getting married.

Hey, I had 15 years of religion class on a daily basis. What do you think I was doing during class? This was probably when old Luther was mentioned.
