Quoting AEnigma III: Better examples of beauty AND strong, principled women are Audrey Hepburn and Brigitte Bardot.
I dont think anyone has "beaten" them yet |
Wonderful ladies...they are not in this game now....If we are going to bring out the oldies but goodies...how about Hedy Lamarr? Beauty and brians.
Hedy Lamarr (November 9, 1913 – January 19, 200 was an Austrian-born American Jewish actress and communications technology innovator. Though known primarily for her great beauty and her successful film career, she also co-invented an early form of spread spectrum, a key to modern wireless communication.[1]

Roswitha, the link you posted features Tarik Akan, he has been active as an actor since the 70's. He was awarded numerous prizes both in Turkey and abroad. One of his notable films was Yol which fetched him Cannes Film Festival Golden Palm Award in 1982. Here is a link taking you to a web site featuring that movie:
http://www.tulumba.com/storeItem.asp?ic=VI274452AS501
Tarik Akan played a young and handsome skirt chaser who eventually found the princess of his heart. He is loved by everyone in Turkey. He and a number of other actors and actresses that starred in the now classical Turkish movies are loved by people so much so that many people consider them as the members of their families.
The naive spectators who took up the habit of going to movies in the 60's and 70's took them so seriously, we'd hear news about people beating the bad guy to a pulp to take revenge.

alameda, you great manipulator. this was a selective pasting.
you could also paste other her activities/charities.
im watching you, alameda. |
Excuse me, Fem, just what is that supposed to mean? Is this a threat? Why would you threaten me? What are you so upset about? What I posted is part of her record, and I included a link so anyone can learn more about her works.
Do you find her work in the part I posted to be offensive? Evidently she was proud enough to state these things in public.

Quoting catwoman: Quoting alameda: And yes, I think she is beautiful, and evidently millions of other do to. I think some here just may be jealous. |
Who is jealous Alameda? I think it's Aenigma - she's saying she's jealous about money but we can see what she really means - Jlo made money only for her looks, so her money=her looks, so by money, Aenigma really means looks! So sneaky Aenigma!
Or maybe you mean the old Alfie? He's so ugly that he likes to hang out with attractive people to feel like 'one of them' and even though he says he likes them, it's just plain jealousy and insecurity. Or maybe he just has no other options other then pictures...
Or maybe you're talking about theHandsome? He obviously has some hang-ups about appearance.
Btw, don't you think that the way Jlo paints her face is a bit funny? Personally, I prefer the painting of this guy, much more esthetically pleasing.
