Quoting AEnigma III: Quoting alameda: I think some here just may be jealous. |
This is OUTRAGEOUS!
First we have Alpha saying the evil west calls mixed races "half breeds", then we have Alameda saying that anyone who disagrees that J-Lo is a goddess is jealous!
What a poor opinion you have of the west..and women! |
AEnigma, everyone has their own standards of beauty. You may not like her features, but her skin is flawless, her features are very symetrical, her bodily proportions are very nice by most standards. Her expression is not hard, but she has a vulnerability that many find attractive. IOW She does not exhibit an arrogant egotistican nature as some in her situation could and do.
She worked hard to train as a dancer, was subjected to rejection, but perservered. I wish her well.
Jennifer Lopez
"On February 14, 2007, Lopez received the Artists for Amnesty International award "in recognition of her work as producer and star of Bordertown, a film exposing the ongoing murders of hundreds of women in the border city of Juárez, Mexico". Nobel Peace Prize winner José Ramos Horta presented the award to Lopez at the Berlin International Film Festival. She also received special recognition and thanks from Norma Andrade, co-founder of Nuestras Hijas de Regreso a Casa A.C. ("May Our Daughters Return Home, Civil Association"), an organization consisting of mothers and families of the murdered women of Juárez."
The term Beauty is after all a subjective term that can mean many things to many people.

To tell the truth, I really don't spend that much time thinking about her. In fact is she had not been mentioned in this thread, I probably would not have thought about her at all. I don't have any of her albuns, and probably will never get them.
She fits quite well in the society and culture she is part of....used or not....and I can understant what the attraction is. Relative to others in her situation, she does pretty well.
Now have we not had enough of J.Lo....I realize some as yet want more.....but.... is anyone wants to continue this, it looks like she has her own thread now...

Better examples of beauty AND strong, principled women are Audrey Hepburn and Brigitte Bardot.
I dont think anyone has "beaten" them yet
