I hardly believe that for some Armenians this has anything to do with political games, MrX.

For many Armenians the issue of the Armenian Genocide is not a question of historical truth, it is rather an issue of morality and the acceptance of the truth.

well i think thats not to good itching history's wounds, its really not useful. We all have to teach young generations necessary of peace&friendship,we don't have to grow em as the warriors of history...

We learn from history MrX and I don't see the Jews as warriors of history.

"If nations are allowed to commit genocide with impunity, to hide their guilt in a camouflage of lies and denials, there is a real danger that other brutal regimes will be encouraged to attempt genocides. Unless we speak today of the Armenian genocide and unless the Government recognizes this historical fact, we shall leave this century of unprecedented genocides with this blot on our consciences."

-Caroline, Baroness Cox, House of Lords, April 1999

Teaschips1,

Why dont you tell us whether or not some Armenians donned the uniforms of invading French and Russian Armies and took up arms against the Ottoman Armies?

What do you think the Ottomans should have done?
