In an exclusive interview with AF, he told TC that he actually never went to the army... yes, this is a shock to all of us. He's been diagnosed by a doctor and sent to Konya as a dudu, here's an excerpt from the conversation:

Quoting AlphaF: Once their medical status is established as such, by army Doctors, they are sent to work in the tourist industry, where they serve as valiant dudus. |
Some of you might know that Konya is not a great place to work as a dudu... Dudu's in Konya don't have a lot of business and when they do, they get severely criticized by the local, conservative community. This, no doubt, left an emotional scar on Alfie.
This information, as you all realize, uncovers important aspects of AF's life. However, it still doesn't explain why Alfie started a company with Aengima but does NO work in it and why did Aengima remane her legal practice as "Lie, Cheat and Steal, Inc."? And above all, what will happen at the conference in Istanbul.. Important questions are still to be asked. Stay tuned...

This is a silly thread that looks as if it us designed to undermine the credibility of a very knowledgable member here.
Now I guess you will start in on me. Instead of involving yourselves in meaningful, researched and informed discourse, you are stooping to making fun of members who disagree with you.

"Look, I served in this army and my son served in this army -partly because we felt it was our responsibility to protect you and your husband's sisters.
It is not on to chicken out and cry in complaints, when it is his turn to serve. It is his own honor, do you think Turkish Army desparately needs his services?"
Well did it ever dawn on you that some may consider them heros?
