THIS JUST IN.....Quinoa is an insult to Turkishness!!

Anyone found distributing, eating, cooking or enjoying anything other than ordinary Turkish rice (pilaf) will be punished under section 301 of the Turkish penal code...vegetarians will be considered "high risk" eaters and be highly suspect.

I find it so funny when people feel really offended, insulted or hurted online, or when they think they should stand up for each other. Wake up guys, this is internet. You press one button and ALL the people are GONE.

We are all part of a community and when something is siad that I dont like, I will say something about it, if I feel treated unfairly I will reply, but these keep coming up as ongoing discussions, and what for? Its not taking any extreme forms, and its not even real. If you dont like it, there is a small [x] right up the page.

Deli_kizen, of course you are in many ways correct, but I think we tend to forget there ARE real people at the end of the line here who can be hurt. Words are powerful, more so than swords. I think we need to remember that.

Just because there is very little protocol thus far on the proper on-line manners, using common sense and sensitivity is always a good idea, don't you think?

By the way, I really love some of your photos here. Thanks for uploading them.

Yes I agree with you and my post wasnt meant towards you solely anyway, but these ongoing arguements of people who feel bashed.. YES there have been occassions that people acted very rudely and unfair, but sometimes I feel like people just stand up for each other to make a point against the other..

But Im always for sense, sensibility and simplicity

Hope to add more nice pictures one day, since that will mean I have visited more nice places too I got your PM but if I dont reply immediately, I usually forget it And the gözleme your friend makes sounds wonderful
