Quoting AlphaF:
Do you know how many young Turkish boys are seduced by overaged, sex starved, stale ladies of the West?
Have you seen any of these ladies in the hole? or, do you think that is ok? |
And do you know how many young turkish boys THINK that ALL english women over a certain age are sex starved?? and also can you explain why a normal young boy no matter what nationality would really want an overaged, sex starved, stale lady no matter what country she is from.
Also suduction and rape are too differnt issues. Any one who rapes another person,no matter what age or sex should be locked up and the key thrown away.

These are difficult, abstract concepts. I don't think our stale grandpa is capable of grasping....

I guess it's really cos turkish girls are not generally having premarital sex, so turkish boys know they cant get it from them...therefore any western women that they come across are targeted cos they are 'easy'...whether they are ugly, fat, unattractive, whatever, i guess the turkish boy doesnt care, cos they're unlikely to get it with a turkish girl before marriage! (thats how i understand it anyway)

And we know that in turkey men are like 80-90% bitches. If we can't get it with guys in our own country, just go to turkey and you're bound to find lots of easy dudes.

I guess it depends on where you go in Turkey! Turkish girls in Istanbul are at it like rabbits I hear
I guess its just the gullible western women and their purses which attract the Turkish boys - or just both women and boys just looking for fun

"For single women who want to avoid harrassment
During a recent visit to Turkey I had a few days on my own before my conference started and my in-laws joined me. A woman alone staying in the Sutanhamet area, I was constantly harrassed by carpet salesmen and tour guides. I found that wearing a headscarf when I went out alone made me invisible.

Quoting femme_fatal: a friend of mine who was in pakistan involved in humanitarian aid (naive westerners who really give their hearts to the charity) together with her husband went shopping. for the moment she was left in a car(5 mins until he was back with his ciggarets) she was almost been raped in the day light, in the town centre, in her own car. bunch of wild and horny pakis took the signal (a woman being left alone) as an invitation or chance to do their honorable business. they just simply followed their cultural/religious directions |
please do not use that word, it's horrible
And I've been to Turkey a few times by myself (20 year old) and only once had trouble, to which 5 or 6 men stepped in to help me out. So really there is nothing to worry about

i decided to reply in this topic because some of the things that have been told here are unfair toward the plesent experiences i had while in turkey.
actually, for me traveling to turkey was almost as a relief after all that i heard or seen in romania. keywords for those who seek employment (mostly in bucharest) is avoid turkish and italian small businesses. why? most of the times job is brought by/brings along at least a nice laying down with the 'boss'. but i question the moral integrity, professionalism and education of both these employers and the willing candidates. some of them have only high school degree, in most cases i doubt that they possess even this diploma.
most of the men i met in turkey were polite. in tourist resorts some give themselves a fair chance while seeing a woman alone. (which can become annoying, imposing taking attitudes while even on holiday.) yet, from what i have experienced, approaches are made in a moderate way, especially in the place they work or run businesses. usually employees are the ones to permit themselves 'having fun', but their approach rely very much on foreigner women's response to this. i suspect very few of them would permit themselves a bad reputation for the business (but just a wild guess here). others are studying the ground as to see if what they heard is true. than again, others are very respectful and kind. yet again, some are even helpful, chasing away rude 'intruders'.
who is being spoiled here, turkish youth or western women? i guess it is an interactive process. as these problems always are. the candid becomes candidate, possibly a corrupt later. (just as it was put in the harlot's progress by hogarth). and what are the causes of these have been redundantly discussed already in this forum.
IMO what is referred to in this discussions is practiced by a narrow part of the society to which, if it seems right, one can gang, if not, can withhold. if traveling alone, a woman must be aware that she might be approached and have to deal with this experience. and this is not an attack or insinuation or a betrayal on an 'exposed' or 'mistreated' womankind. it is a fact.
so in my opinion it is much more practical to be scared by the werewolves while having a journey in turkey.)) and to be prepared on how to act if alone and being approached. with a fair attitude, if desired, some eventual misconceptions of western women could be changed, also.
