I agree with you on that verse. There are worse verses as well :S
However islam in Turkey has always been different than the islam in countries like sauidi arabia, pakistan etc.
Islam in Turkey has always been a milder version of islam.

I know there are worse verses. I also am well aware that Turkey is a "milder" version of Islam - what other whose population are 90% muslim could be famous for it's Raki? 
Handsom you quote figures that are "years old" and "estimates" and you forget the source, so don't tell me that Turkey has a better rape crime record than UK

But we dont know the real numbers in Turkey. so we cant be sure uk has better rape crime record than Turkey!!

Rape stats are always highest in countries where rape is treated as a serious crime and where women are not afraid to report it to the police. You will find similar high stats for the US and UK for martial abuse.
It is very sinister to see the stats so low for countries like Yemen and Saudi Arabia.
I am proud that our stats are higher - it proves there is no stigma to the woman and she is less afraid to report such a crime.
PS. It sounds like you are a stalker!!!! Careful, it will get you arrested in the UK  |
