In the summer of 1995, two years after being designated a United Nations Safe Area, the Bosnian town of Srebrenica became the scene of the worst massacre in the Bosnian war.
civilised EU .........civilised EU .........civilised EU .........civilised EU .........civilised EU .........civilised EU ......... they all are modern when they talk to muslims(?).
What a limited view to make this a modern political thing, instead of seeing the human suffering. This isn´t about the EU talking to Muslim countries. It was UN troops who were at Srebrenica... the UN is an organisation of which Muslim countries are also members. The massacre shows how much people can hate eachother, when they are basically the same. Differences that were so insignificant were used to create a whole war, and killed many many people. Srebrenica was a failing of the entire human race, just as we see this kind of massive failures today.

I agree with much of what you say but it´s not only about the EU talking to Muslim countries but European countries communicating with their own Muslim populations. Of course it´s a two way process and it is up to Muslim immigrants to interact with people of the country they have chosen to settle in. It takes a great deal of work on both sides and there will always be those at either end of the continuum who will try to "put a spanner in the works".
I remember being shocked when war broke out in the former Yugoslavia. I never visited there but I only ever knew it as a place where people went for a holiday, Summer and Winter holidays. It is was a sobering thought, that such an unspeakable event could happen relatively close to home, in a "picture postcard" place. It made me less naive and more aware of the politics of the wider world. It is something that must never be forgotten.

What caught my eye was the Spanish offside before they made that goal... Too bad it didn´t catch the referee´s eye!!!

What didn´t catch your eye was that two Dutch players should have been sent off in the first half for dangerous play.

Yeah in the first position it seems offside, they missed, i dont know if it could be categorized as what they call passive offside. Anyway before the goal, referee also missed the corner after Holland´s freekick, how come he missed i dont know, it was very clear, and turning ball became Spain goal. When Spain counter-attacking before goal, i was thinking that Holland should have made foul but they did not, big mistake, you have one player missing and just 4 minutes left.
Moreover Heitinga did not deserve second yellow card, Iniesta acted well as he always does. Imo penalty shoot out would have been fair to determine the winner. And no need to mention Arjen Roben missed two important chances, i guess he cannot sleep for one week, pity for the Holland...

what a simple opinion u have and your comment...it is like a child had written these...if this event happened in any EU countries, do u know what would happened...few years ago few explosion were happened in Uk and UK behaved that all muslims are terrorists. and there are many examples...for instance, in 1915s , few armenian died in anatolia during war now Turkey is guilty for these coz some christians were killed ,they ignore how much turks were killed by armenian..
before posting TC forums, u should read abit about topic, dont behave like a children, if u wanna do that go to kindergarten..

Janissary,
Now you greatly exaggerate. I guarantee you that neither PT nor BM hate turks and muslims.
Opposite, they love everyone and everything.
Prove me otherwise if Im wrong. Bring me their posts of turkish hatred.

Ofcourse I hate Turks and Muslims. That´s way I´m doing my best to learn Turkish, so I can scream at them at their own language. I also beat all the Turkish "friends" and "family" that I have with a stick when I see them... Oh I can´t wait to have my Turkish babies so I can start beating them too!
As a Dutch person I know enough about what happened. It was Dutch UN troops that were outnumbered that day, and came into the strange and utterly disgraceful position that will hunt our nation forever. Hold your tongue next time. Just because you don´t agree with me doesn´t mean I´m uninformed. It just means my view is different than yours.
