well said carla louise... thankyou, you make perfect sense! yes trudy he did tell me he loved me ect.... 6 long happy years ago and has done evry day since... you are obviously bitter for a reason and im sorry you experienced that but your comments are very hurtful to honest turkish men and their partners, we get judged and sterio typed from the general public... even friends and family.. so we look to sites like this for help and advise, not critisism and insults
Well said Elif84. I also commend Carla´s statement. I know more than a few Turkish/American marriages. Most have worked out quite well, and at least as well as American/American marriages, if not better. As in everything, it depends on the particular people involved.

thankyou alameda, someone has to stick up for people in mixed race relationships... my daughter will grow up with dual heritage and i certainly dont want her to be hearing comments like that... somethin else you sceptics ought to think about!!!! everyone is entitled to their opinion and yes, these forums are for people to express them but there is no reason to be hurtful x

Actually if you take it personal it will hurt, but if you are neutral you can see some rational seeds.
take it easy. you have your own opinion, others - the same. Words are just declaration, your deeds are the best proof
