I don´t know what you say in enlish.. by the way good try tina..

for example a girl is 16 years old, and she goes to the court to make her age 17, this is called yaþ büyutme

not sure i understand but love the idea ......can it work with any age

so when i am 50 i can go to the court to make my age 20 again

 you can not change you age here not legally or anyway as far as i know

I didn´t mean to make a mess out of it.. but you know in the undeveloped countries, the babies are not sometimes registered at birth.. So they take a year or 2 to make it.. As a result, the child will be phisically 4 years old, but the ID says 2.. Specially with the girls, when it is time to get married, they are normally old enough, but because they are registered late, they can´t.. so they go to court to change it to the real age, some tests are run,  then they change it..

 

May be there is no exact word in English because you never have to do these things.

 büyütme is the noun form, not the negative or imperative

you didn´t make a mess  

 but i did  learn  something new today...

nope definatley can´t think of a term for this specifically in english..but at least if i need the term i can always use the  turkish version

 

perhaps i could try and persuade the government that i am still 15 then i could save a fortune as i would still get my student discount .....mmmmmmmmmmm  i will give it a go lol (Will the tests hurt me much ?? )

Well I was trying to imagine myself going to court and saying ´I´ve come for an age exaggeration´ it just didn´t sound right!
