Strange text. Partially translated. Got stuck. My try:

On the mountain a herd of 3 5 pigs

they were taught a kurdish folk song

In their hands a tablecloth as flag

Satsan beþ para etmez ne dirisi-

satsan         : If you sell

beþ              : five

para etmez  : it´s worthless,

ne dirisi        :

Ýte itlik yapýk yata tutma beyine.

yata            : burial place

tutma         : don´t hold

beyine        :  to the brain.

If you understand what i said, the streetdogs will bewail your situation.

the bastard who hears this: how proud I am to be turk!

it´s ok... i´m not complaining... hehe... it´s either i´m too stupid to understand, or the text just really doesn´t make sense at all...

Just a remark: I need to be fed continually with speculaas and pepernoten to stay in translation-mode. I hope that´s understood.

the text or my stupidity? well the text came from a quote that my dudu´s friend has on his msn... as usual, i´m being nosy... hihihi... and my stupidity... well i don´t remember hitting my head, it might be the result of amnesia... or it is hereditary... hehehe...

If one can already argue about simple things like pepernoten being the real pepernoten or not, how more difficult can it be then to do a 100% correct translation of f.i. turkish to english?

And by the way: if we insist on calling them pepernoten, they´ll eventually be called pepernoten, that´s what a living language is all about!

mmmhm, pepernoten.

Don´t tell that to a baker (or to the daughter of one - me).
