Quoting slavica: Quoting aenigma x: Quoting pagliaccio: I haven't watched 'La Gloire de Mon Pere', and I don't think I will ever dare to watch it. I do fear. Unless I win back your confidence, I won't watch it. However I will always keep and care it. It is very precious to me. |
Dearest Cyrano,
Have you ever heard of email?
Ehi |
Maybe he has the reason to not use it? Don't be so strict to him
Besides, I'm sure all 'recipients' from this thread do have e-mail addresses. But it's not the point... |
He knows I am just kidding

Well since you publicly stated that M. Kemal Ataturk is not a national hero (because your American friends don't know who he is), its no wonder you are happy Vineyards won't be posting any longer. I can't even imagine how you feel he twisted your words. Your words are pretty twisted all by themselves without any help from others...

Yes, and your also associated by the company you keep now aren't you. So it seems self evident, you have a habit of twisting things here as well. Interpretate anything you want as long as it sits well in your mind, our CNN expert. I got to give it you KeithL, your two sense is always appreciated here.

CNN Expert, I love that!!! See, this is a personal attack, not a comment on anything I have ever said. This is the difference between me and you I think. I keep my comments to what someone actually says.
Once and for all, I do not work for CNN. It is only the page that opens when I start my computer.
And I am proud to call Akin a friend. So yes, I am guilty of being a complete supporter of the ideals of the Turkish Constitution.

So, stating my words are "twisted" isn't a personal attack? Hmm, ok if you say so. :-S

Would you prefer "illegal" or "dangerous", because what you said is both. Pull out your thesaurus and I will let you choose a word.

"The keenest sorrow is to recognize ourselves as the sole cause of all our adversities." - Sophocles
I didn't look for this quote (and no, this is not from Wanda), in fact it itself has just found me today. Then this must really mean -a sign- that I am really a criminal and have been still regretting and suffering.
Hello,

KeithL, you are just too much for words. So, once again go back and reread my posts, did I not say that Ataturk was Turkeys Hero. Did, I not say I had respect for their hero? Did I not agree with Vineyard on his following statements? Hmm, let's pick and choose what words we want to distort here. You and your buddy seem to do alot of this. See you in jail...
1-This country fought a war of independence under the leadership of K. Ataturk.
2- Turkish republic was founded by Ataturk.
3- You or your fellow employees don't have to know him and I don't care a bit whether they do or not.
4- Read the comments made by Churchill, Lord Kinross etc to understand how they regarded him in the UK.
5- Alternatively, do not give a ... about it and mind your own business. Ataturk is our hero and we are proud of him.
6- Eat a lot of fish and walnuts.
Grapevine, I never disagreed with the following above, now did I? I think you have taken my original post and left it somewhere in the vineyard. No where in any of my posts did I misunderstand the basic concept as you would like to claim. I just don't use the term "National Hero" very loosely. Once again, I made a clear observation when I responded to the original post and yet I'm put in a position to argue over Turkey's "National Hero". I have never insulted Ataturk here, yet you keep challenging me to do so. Not sure what your motive is.
To clarify your above statements, here are my responses.
1. Agree
2. Agree
3. Agree
4. Agree
5. Agree
6. Agree (I love fish but prefer cashews.)

You did say that....but only after you said this.
"nor do I believe "Ataturk" is a national hero. My point was if insulting Ataturk is a crime in Turkey, there are plenty of Turkish citizens who are hyprocitical about not respecting other world leaders."
I don't know what your arguing about. Anyone can plainly see what you wrote. And now you are denying you said it in the first plaace. If you would have never made this ridiculous statement, I woundn't have felt compelled to correct you.
