dont show me protests by arab ppl in europe. as I said before u are all in a dream. Coz our religion and culture thought us to love human. as Yunus Emre said: "we love the created because of Creator."

And Ataturk said that ""Mankind is a single body and each nation a part of that body. We must never say ´What does it matter to me if some part of the world is ailing?´ If there is such an illness, we must concern ourselves with it as though we were having that illness."

christian Serbia??? dont be funny. it s another dramatic face of europe. What did europe do for it? yes they did something but after genocide. in this century and in the middle of europe. when did they find that serbain leader? before they accept serbia to EU.

this europe is trying to teach us democracy and human rights. Turkish youth is fortunately is aware of everything. in our universities youth come togather and protest every single violence. This is goood news for world.

This kind of "them and us"  post, and those of Tam, make me very sad for the future - just more hate hate hate ....

It reads like a brainwashed kind of thinking...that only THEY care.  Incidently, since when did people have to be TAUGHT how to love other humans? It seems more to me that you are taught how to hate.

I assume this religious teaching you mention excludes women because I see no loving treatment of them in your "culture".  Don´t preach your religion to me until you can show me that Islam practices what it preaches.  I have never seen a religion of any kind which does that.

Sui - you started a thread about hundreds of people being killed, just to take a cheap dig at some TC members who had previously criticised Turkey - are you proud?

Canli - YOUR people????   I dont care about religion or location, these people are human beings first so they are all OUR people, as members of the human race.  Again, you make this a ´them´ and ´us´ situation.

Femme - I would disagree with  ´muslims only grieve for muslims´.  A sweeping generalisation and not true.

Tami - I will treat your hate-filled posts with the contempt they deserve and say nothing.

AE - I dont always agree with your posts, but you have been 100% correct with every word in this thread.

I dont post here because, like others, I come here mainly to learn Turkish.  That doesn´t mean I dont care!!!   I read all the topics, just dont usually reply, but this one pushed me over the edge !!!

will you just stop babbling? even muslims didnt protest against this statement because they agree with me. they know what i have said, because they simply dont grieve over non-muslim deads. those who said they do are just not very much muslim. if you dont know a thing on religions just keep silent and focus on your lessons.

You still treat this as an "us and them" situation?  I have no care about whose country is best/right, and I am not alone.  Europe does not want to teach any country human rights - they just have standards, rightly or wrongly, to join the EU.  You dont have to join. And don´t YOU CARE about human rights?  Or is your pride too big that you wont admit what is wrong with your country, only what is wrong with others?

Incidently you should be pleased, Turkey are back bombing Northern Iraq today....I hope it makes you happy {#lang_emotions_you_crazy}

I do agree with this statement - I wish I saw the Turkish youth also protesting about their own country more often too.  It is healthy and right for the youth to question governments.

I am sad that our country´s youth seem to have lost that (hopefully temporarily).  During the 60s and 70s the youth did so much to change the country for BETTER.  These days they seem so self-satisfied and "me" focused, and just don´t seem to care so strongly as they should

those "human rights" of the west never apply to "us", though. Where was the EU when the Turks got burnt in Solingen and Ludswighafen by christian nazis? A Turkish man got tortured to death by the police in Germany this year. why didn`t your so called "human rights" apply to him? That`s because your fellow europeans don`t even see us as humans

You`re talking about how we see things as "us" and "you". but it`s your disgusting hypocracy that leads to this situation.

We can all find examples of the bad in ALL OUR COUNTRIES - except you it seems.  I don´t EVER pretend to believe that my country is any better than any other.  The hypocracy is all from you.  You will never see beyond the boundaries of your own country, and your blind pride of it.
