Quoting femmeous

i think palestinians wasted a lot chances given to them, spitting onto the kind hand. im 100%sure arabs will never let palestinians live in peace. palestinian arabs are pawns in the hand of wealthy spoiled by oil other arabs.

What chances,? to always live under israeli control! chekpoints everywhere.

to have settlements sprout like mushrooms between palestinian villages and land and water confiscated everyday by israelis?

you call this a fair chance given by a kind hand?

oh, because, jews are smart, they excavate everything, they have found many interesting basements underneath jerusalem. btw, i heard they did excavations near al-aqsa not under it. and why did you bring this up? has it any significanse to this topic?

they are excavating under al aqsa

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Excavations_of_Al-Aqsa_Mosque

and it is a matter of great significance because there is a fear that the foundations of the mosque will be destabilized. may be they are smart but that does´nt give thim the right to excavate under the mosque, the land is not theirs!

This has a significance to this topic to show you that Israelis dont want peace, they keep on stiring up troubles here and there. They know the significance of the mosque to muslims and yet they deliberately excavate "under" the mosque.

oh my, what happent? did they learn a lesson from the past?

may be they did so they decided it is better to live in peace instead of continuing with this uggly war forever thus saving lives. Let´s hope the israelis learn as well. one can learn  from the defeat of the others no?

During the war, about 100,000 Palestinian refugees fled to Lebanon (here starts all your troubles).

Exactly, thats where  all the troubles started, when the palestinians were kicked out of their homes and land by israelis and they had to go to the neighbouring countries.

What do you expect to happen to all the people who were displaced, vanish in the nature or drown in the sea!

a war with israel was a mistake and a curse. lebanon will bear the consequences for very long, i reckon.

as long as the palestinian issue is not solved all neighbouring countries will suffer. In lebanon there are around 400 thousand palestinian refugees living in camps. Much more (I dont have exact numbers) are refugees living in camps in syria and jordan.

of course, there are lots of suicide bombers there, young boys from poor families and young women with a damaged reputation. they must be better checked.

they anyway smuggle weapon and terrorists underground and imagine if they had open airports they would have nuclear weapon by this time. israeli checkpoints caught lots of humanitarian aid trucks full of weapon instead of sugar or flour just from europe.

I havent heard of this news, but you may be right.

again, i am sure if palestinians were given freedom and the possibility to live decently on their land you wouldnt hear of any suicide bombers again.

i personally have condemned them after what they did. as i said im not a prophet to predict the future. most of them now regret for siding up with terrorists, you sure know that or french tv is censored?

luckily the french TV is not censored and the french were the ones who took the picture few years ago  of that israeli soldier deliberately shooting at a helpless boy hiding behind a barrel with his father trying to protect him. here is a reminder

http://www.jehat.com/jehaat/images/sira/mohd_aldera.jpg

he was not a suicide bomber he was just a child coming back from school but to israelis all palestinian kids are potential suicide bombers no?

im not talking about the violence happent 20 years ago. if i follow your thinking, i too didnt hear you condemning the holocaust done on jews. but i dont follow your way of thinking.

We condemn the holocaust every second of the day believe me, first because it was inhuman injust and barbaric, and also because it gave a reason to some  jews to badly treat others and have a feeling of superiority. The sad thing is that no one can answer back because they would call you anti-semite and that is a crime you know. anti muslim or anti arab is not a crime on the contrary it is a virtue nowadays!

ooooo, i dont agree with you. this description belongs to lebanon of 40-50 years ago.

listen to this brave lady, she doesnt hide like you and doesnt hide her identity.

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=-8fa9yKQeTY

Your lady gabriel definitely twist the facts but then you are free to believe her.

Her parents were with what we call "the army of south lebanon" mainly a group of people "shi´a, druze and maronites" who collaborated with the israelis. After the israeli withdrawal from south lebanon fewyears ago (except from shib´a farms) most of them fled either to israel or to the states for fear of being brought to trial for treason.

 we are anyway very different.

Indeed we are and that is what makes the world beautiful, the diversity.

where did you take this from?

i took this from an islamic site

http://www.islamherald.com/asp/explore/iman/shahada/prerequisites_of_the_declaration2.asp

basically, muslims are not allowed to question and doubt about allah.

There are many school of thought in Islam.

One great philosopher and scholar is "al-ghazzali" (1058-1111) who belived that doubt is the only way to truth and in this matter he did anticipate Descartes. If you are interested in widening up your philosophical knowledge here is the link.

http://www.ghazali.org/articles/osmnbkr-dbt.htm

here, i again have to side with a common sense. many israeli civilians? apparently again you have met many israelis?

Yes indeed I did and I have good friends among them. Too bad I cannot always communicate with them as much as I please because in my country it might  be viewed as a "collaboration with the enemy"

you should finally open your eyes: theres no solution to this conflict.

There is always hope.

Hmm, Israel withdrew 3 years ago from the Gaza strip in order to instill peace..since then Hamas has sent over 3 thousand missles into Israel within the last year targeting civilians.   Can´t really comprehend why anyone is questioning Israel´s actions...Your not suggesting they need to peacefully discuss this sitting at the kitchen table now...{#lang_emotions_wtf}just a little too late for that.

I find this an incredible statement and indicates the level of brainwashing or lack of reasonable media coverage that goes on in the USA.  Israels actions are doing nothing but propergating Hamas and may be Hezbollah after hearing todays news.

At least three rockets have been fired into northern Israel from Lebanon, raising fears that the current Israeli offensive in Gaza may spill over.

"Des responsables militaires israéliens ont évoqué dans des médias locaux l´acte isolé d´un groupe d´extrêmistes palestiniens, écartant la piste du Hezbollah. La milice chiite a ensuite fait clairement savoir au gouvernement libanais, où il compte un ministre, qu´il n´était pas impliqué dans les tirs "

http://www.20minutes.fr/article/286903/Monde-Israel-tire-sur-le-Liban-pour-riposter-a-des-tirs-de-roquette.php

"Israelis Military responsibles evoked in local media the isolated act of a group of Palestinian extremistes and not Hizbollah

The Shiite militia  clearly stated to the Lebanese government, where it has a minister in the cabinet, that it was not implied in the shooting "

This shooting was a mistake in my opinion. It doesnt serve the peace process and definitely doesnt serve neither the palestinians nor the lebanese.

Vatican deplores Gaza situation

The Pope´s justice minister, Cardinal Renato Martino, has sharply criticised Israel´s actions and likened the Gaza Strip to a "big concentration camp".

For those critics here of Israel..what would you suggest they do when they are constantely being attacked via missles almost on a daily basis.  We are talking 3 thousand missles in a period of 12 months here...let´s do the math 8.52 missles a day and you question them defending themselves.{#lang_emotions_you_crazy}  My views have nothing to do with the media, I haven´t even entertained the media.  To me this is common sense.  Yes, innocent people die but as you know Israel has very sofisticated techonology.  They are targeting strategic Hamas operation sites.  Unlike Hamas who are targeting civilians. The Palestinians are harboring a terror organization which have announced over and over their intent to destroy Israel and the destruction of the Jews.   You can´t negotiate with people that have this mentality.  Do you really think any of your countries would sit back and allow this?  {#lang_emotions_noway}  I would hope not.  I don´t agree with alot of Israel´s policies or decisions but I certainly can´t blame them for defending themselves.  You won´t ever see peace until these people start valueing their own childrens lives more.  Once that happens then their is some hope for peace.

Qana massacre,  april 18 2006 (Lebanon)

Israeli artillery hit the area of a UN compound near Qana; Of the 800 Lebanese civilians who had taken refuge in the compound to escape the fighting, 106 were killed and around 116 injured

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Qana_Massacre

After investigation, Amnesty international concluded, "the IDF intentionally attacked the UN compound.."

Response of Israel, the compound was hit "due to incorrect targeting based on erroneous data."

Israel is not any different from Hamas, They are targetting civilians.

The Red Cross has accused Israel of failing to fulfil its obligation to help wounded civilians in Gaza.

ICRC staff found four weak and scared children beside their mothers´ bodies in houses hit by shelling in Zeitun.

You really think Israel would be targeting a UN Compound...{#lang_emotions_noway}  Unlike Hamas yesterday who shot off several missles from a UN School and put innocent civilians on top of the roof to deter any retaliation.

The UN told that this claim of Israel is plain lie.

The meeting of Israel´s security Cabinet comes a day after France and Egypt sketched a proposal to stop the fighting. The initiative was spurred on by an Israeli mortar strike near a United Nations school the U.N. says killed 40 Palestinians.

The U.S. has endorsed the proposal. Israel has yet to give its response.

Israeli officials, speaking on condition of anonymity because no decision has been made, say Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and his top ministers will consider the proposal today or whether to press ahead with the 12-day operation meant to stop rocket fire into Israel.

Israel has killed more than 600 Palestinians in the fighting.

The United Nations agency dealing with Palestinian refugees says it´s certain that Hamas militants were not using its school to attack Israeli troops.

Israel said militants fired mortar shells at its troops from outside the school, drawing return fire.

Christopher Guinness of the U.N. Relief and Works Agency said today ``UNWRA is 99.9 percent certain there were no militants or military activity in its school.´´

Yes I truely believe so. International organizations and after investigation said they did it deliberately. so it doesnt matter what I think, they actually did it.

When they cannot say there was a terrorist firing missles at them from that location they say technical error. The end result is that hundreds of civilians are being killed.

Here is an excuse for Israel, there is 0.1%  chance that a terrorist was actually in the UN school therefore the death of 40 civilians is justified...end of the matter!!!!

guinness should work better on his math next time!
