B"H

I think you´re very wise to say this.  But then, to what extent may we apply it?  How subjective is the term "surrender"?

Surrending is like to surrend all your hurts, agonies, your pain, all the bad things we carry too often..when we just give it to God and he will supply all our needs and take away our pain

Not quite...

God is merciful...he promises that your sins associated with god himself will be largely pardoned, if you sincerely repent and surrender.

But if you are guilty of stealing my bread or causing me any personal sorrow or agony, you may not be forgiven without  my consent.  Personal accounts will be separately dealt with.

AlphaF is profoundly right ... ´Hakkullah´ [Transgression against God] will be gratuitously forgiven upon repentence.  But ´Hakkul Ebad´ [transgression against Fellow Creatures] ... human, animal or mineral ... for these proper restitution has to be made.  Since ´Minerals´ [Environment] cannot ostensibly forgive, environmental vandalism has to be rectified.  This applies even after performing the ´Hajj´ [Hac].

Anyway, whatever lead to this ´Theological´ debate, I shall never understand!  Getting back to the language issue, can I, a learner, convey the same meaning at a simple level by saying:-

*** > Teslim ediginde, tanri her insanin kalbina bariþ eder < *** ?????????????

Please favour me with your comment ......... without getting into theological mishmash, lutfen.

Yes, that is one that really bothers me! I think the expression is to ask if they would Haq Hillal you.  That works for Muslims, but what about the others?  I don´t think it is limited to humans.

Gossip is a big one....and so easy to fall into.

Gossip is bad to begin with ...but God is merciful..There are other religions that believe almost the same..Because it boils down by choice right from wrong.....
